Unsettling Uncertainty of Unemployment ~ The Underlying Issue Behind It

Unemployment... the topic comes up in the big White House on Pennsylvania Avenue, but only sporadically. Have you noticed? B HUSSEIN will mention it on the odd occasion to make it "appear" as though he cares, but the reality is... he doesn't care. The "economic climate" is right where he "hoped" it would "change".

Did you lose your job with the vast economic down turn or some time thereafter? It is a scary proposition, and could very well send one into a panic (I've been there)... given there are few jobs opportunities left, and seemingly everyone and their uncle are vying for those limited positions. People are desperate to work in order to keep a roof over their family's head, food on the table, and clothes on their backs.

We've heard the "feel good" stories of how the corporate executives were grateful after they "got the ax", found employment working retail, and realized the lack of stress was priceless.

That isn't the reality for the majority of those who are unemployed though. Many don't have the financial cushion on which to fall back, and be grateful for less stress, because they were living from paycheck to paycheck. In fact, the well publicized automotive manufacturing industry and the recreational vehicle industry took a severe beating along with the suppliers. Has it really crossed the minds of the American public... these plants have either closed entirely or the positions have not been reinstated?

Without the creation of new jobs where do the unemployed, desperate, fearful, and potentially down-and-out turn? Right where B HUSSEIN... has intended ALL ALONG.... B HUSSEIN wants the American Citizen in DIRE STRAITS so they will turn to HIM for ALL their needs....

Ah, another form of discrimination. If it isn't skin color, cultural, then it's ones social class. Not born with a silver spoon in your mouth? Didn't go to college and "make something" of yourself? Don't have a prestigious job? Your annual income doesn't fall within a specific "range"? Worse yet... you flat out fall into the ill-fated category of "poverty"?

Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 11th Edition, states one definition of 'poverty' as being... "the state of one who lacks a usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions." Who made up that nonsensical imaginary subjective economic status? Discrimination is SO subjective and used SO randomly.

Do you work and provide well for your household? Do you have a roof overyour head, food to eat, clothes, and other necessities for life? Do you get dirty working hard at your job? Good for you. Our country was founded on industrious hard work. Besides, soap and water does wonders. Does everyone within the four walls of your home know they are wanted, loved, and belong? Then what difference does "society's" imaginary set of standards really mean?

It means, it's a money trap.... to love money, want more money, and white knuckle your paycheck.

The biggest stigmas are probably welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, etc. Welfare is a bit complicated and somewhat controversial because it is political. Our interests have nothing to do with the vacillating details of the welfare policy, but rather the principle of the matter. Anytime the government steps in to act as a financial safety net for anyone or any corporation, the intended or perceived purpose fails to be recognized because human beings will not respond as intended if not put into a survival mode

The respected and brilliant Dr. Thomas Sowell, summed it up very clearly in 1980, how government providing for the well being of individuals appearing in need of welfare are being set-up to fail. There are no incentives for one to better oneself because government programs are cleverly designed with a public facade to assist. They actually penalize an individual for the pursuit of independence from government assistance. Make a little more money and the government taketh away. Why work more when one doesn't have to and live at a standard suitable with the ever coveted time of leisure? Lazy knows how to manipulate, just like an eloquent speaker campaigning knows how to manipulate. Human beings are human beings typically striving to get their selfish ways accomplished.

These actions are demoralizing and despicable to our Nation. There are those that follow in the footsteps of these individuals, and they in turn multiply. Now our problem is compounding.

Meet the Other Rush

We would like to welcome new readers to our website daily. My co-founder Mike Bertrand and I, are originally from Cape Girardeau, MO where one renowned, boisterous, and much appreciated Conservative... Rush Limbaugh was also born and reared.

Now another Rush has personally entered the picture. His name is Erik Rush. Sometimes eloquently referred to as "The Other Rush". Erik is very worthy of this title in his own right as he is a soft spoken man. Erik has much to offer as he is well rounded, insightful, intelligent, knowledgeable, and politically astute.

He is creative and talented also. He is very well written, the author of three books with another soon to be released. Erik is a contributor for a social commentary, various other print and on-line publications including our own... The Daily Pledge.
Our interaction has gained us more than a "business" relationship. We've established a friendship based on trust. It is hard to believe sometimes that two seemingly diverse backgrounds would meet later in life to have so much in common. We share a rich cultural background which in turn broadens ones perspectives on life, reality, discrimination, racial ignorance, society, etc. Enduring hardships and true Christianity, allows God to provide us with wisdom and understanding in the light of truth and thereby exposing falsehood with ease.

Yet we share diverse talents and we can see how our talents complement each other, and how we can work together to accomplish our goals in getting the word out about our beloved USA, monitor the pulse of our current Administration, know where we are headed, and strive for the direction in which we need to turn.

I am truly honored to be friends with Erik. When he told me he was going to be on Fox News with Sean Hannity, I was thrilled for him. I'm an ardent observer of human behavior and/or I find all people to be fascinating. The first time I saw Sean Hannity talking with Erik, I sensed a mutual politeness between the two men. Spotting it back then was difficult due to Sean's obnoxious liberal mouth piece next to him, yet I detected the kindness and respect.

This most recent interaction on Fox News between Sean Hannity and Erik solidified my observation between the two men. Sean is one of the best at Fox News in my opinion, and letting him have his own show was one of the very BEST moves they made. Sean says what he thinks in his kind and gentle demeanor. Erik shares in the same mannerisms and the two thereby complement each other very well. I would like to see them together more in the future, because they could convey a desperately needed message to viewers or listeners.

Thank you Erik for your tenacity, perseverance, and dedication to this passion that God has instilled within your heart. Thank you for your friendship.

Political correctness is for the birds. Best suited for the parrot associated with mindless mimicking. Humanly speaking it is taken advantage of, by adults using the proverbial "peer pressure" to pursue administrative gain. Socially, one is lead to assume if words are not spoken in conformity with the portrayed majority then.... YOU are WRONG, cast out, and name calling ensues. Sounds oddly familiar to adolescent behavior.

Here lies the mentally deranged aspect of political correctness... as adults we are responsible human beings, have the ability to make choices, and have control over our own minds. Do we not? Handing the power of ones mind over to society is insane because that is eerily similar to being a member of a cult. A cult is typically based upon a religion, and Biblically there is idol worship. Idolatry is when one cannot bear to be without, and/or cannot give it away.

Idolatry and cultish worship are basically one in the same in their devotion and/or reverence to an object, idea, movement, human being, etc. Here are some noteworthy reverberating characteristics of those who succumb to a seemingly automaton existence. Individuals tend to be lead by feelings and less rational with a need to belong. These individuals are dependent upon others for finding their identity and purpose in life. They are also manipulated by persuasive words or propaganda (truth and details are irrelevant), plus they give up their basic beliefs and attitudes for contrasting ideas.

Viola... you have just completed Basic Brainwashing for Dummies~!!!!

What has happened to America and her #1 language? There used to be so much pride in the English language. We are now unable to make a phone call without having to choose between English and Spanish. Go to a large discount store, wander around for a while and you begin to wonder if you still live in the United States of America, or if you are in a dream and landed in the middle of Mexico. Try a home improvement store, every sign is written in English and Spanish. Guess who ends up paying for that extra verbiage?

Mexico is great for a vacation and Spanish is a beautiful language, but not when it's FORCED upon the citizens of the United States of America to kowtow to this ONE culture. The inception of this act of subservience to illegal Mexican immigrants and perhaps those who may not be educated to work in jobs that pay less than the average American wage earner, is an injustice to all Americans.

Those of us spread throughout the USA... We have seen countless times how the Mexican's are crossing the border to enter into the USA illegally, see walls from afar, border patrol, and sadly hear of murders, etc. The Canadians don't behave like unruly, illegal, sneaky, thieves in the night to enter into the United States.

Mexico is corrupt in every sense of the word. The country is indigent and many are seeking monetary gain, yet it is at the cost of the American taxpayer when they cross the border. Babies born from these illegal immigrants should NOT be given the right to be an American Citizen just because the mother made it into a hospital in the USA to deliver the child. It serves NO purpose. The illegal immigrant then manipulates the system and graciousness of the USA... and the problem escalates.

So, now an ever growing population exists in the United States and may continue to grow as the Mexican's are walking to a border crossing post from El Porvenir to Fort Hancock, TX seeking political asylum from the Mexican drug cartel.

The Mexican drug cartel are already among us speaking Spanish. Talking about who knows what right in front of our faces because the majority of us don't understand a word they are saying. Yet, the Mexican or another Spanish speaking person has no pressure on them to learn English, because someone, somewhere has made life easy for illegal, corrupt, manipulators to FREELOAD and continue to manipulate the system of the United States of America.

Learn to speak OUR language like SO many other hardworking respectable people have that entered into this beloved country LEGALLY, learned the language and strive to attain the American dream. We are willing to understand broken English and work WITH you. We have enough of our own FREELOADING parasites that need to be determined.

We DO NOT WANT your corrupt manipulatory ways undermining the upstanding American Citizen. We DO NOT WANT the ever Marxist leaning federal government to kowtow any further, because WE ARE English speaking, hardworking, law abiding citizens, seeking safety and security... and a smaller government. The government's subservience thus far is demoralizing and despicable.

There should be NO option on the phone other than... “For Spanish... Please Press #2 for – EJECT....”

Racism. I've had it with all the wasted energy and hot air about racism. White people who say they “don't see color” are more obtuse than the people they “think” might believe them. Why is it necessary to know? Segments of this country can be SO narrow minded. Stuck on black and white. Yes, I said... “black and white”, because I am not politically correct. I am not brainwashed by society. I am bi-racial, and observe this unending absurdity with this twisted issue called racism.

Not every black person is from Africa. What's up with that? Who started that nonsense of African American anyway? So, white is.... what???? White... of all things, as stated on the 2010 United States Census form. I had to look because I really didn't know. What about the bi-racial person that is partially black and partially white, why do they have to “choose”?

The proverbial “race card” is thrown by black people when no REAL card exists. It is only a concept, imaginary and people hold it over the heads of others that happen to be “white”. People.... human beings are human beings. Male and female, followed by skin color.... and how beautiful. Skin color has a deep cultural background to be appreciated not exploited to the point of misguiding others of the same skin color and intentionally angering those of the other.

There is not one “peaceful” thing about that twisted issue called racism, yet the leading exploiters are irreverently titled Reverend. The incongruity is like an enormous neon sign flashing in the night about two feet away from ones face, and the media plays right into their financial hands. Their selfish motives are followed by others, and are truly demoralizing and despicable under the guise of piety.

One Nation Under Abuse, Without Liberty, No Justice at All

Abuse.... how many of us have stopped to realize our beloved country, the United States of America is a Nation under an abuser, and his cravenly submissive underlings with such large egos playing "White House"? Well, I have and I find it rather disturbing with the other mischievous activity that takes place inside the four walls of that large White House on Pennsylvania Avenue.

Abuse typically takes place behind the four walls of a house as the "abuser" typically appears friendly, kind, and loving while in public. Abuse is not an accident. Abuse is intentional. In fact, abuse is a learned behavior used in order to get what one wants. Take note of this... they don't take responsibility for their actions, apologize, and they will shift the blame.

Most of us are familiar with the various types of abuse like physical, sexual, verbal/emotional, and financial abuse. Let's focus more on the verbal/emotional and financial abuse for our purposes based on tyranny or oppressive power exerted by government.

Verbal abuse is aimed by the villain at the other's emotions through intimidation, threats, threats to induce fears, criticizing, name calling, humiliation, guilt trips, playing mind games, power plays via taking privilege in making large decisions, arrogance and rather condescending toward the other, minimizing the occurrence and blaming, etc. That was a mind full. Feel free to breathe now.

On to financial abuse. I learned about this recently and found it to be rather astonishing. It occurs when the villainous one of the relationship takes tight control of the finances above and beyond the other. Perhaps in the form of taking away money and credit cards, or making them account for every red cent they spend, to withholding necessities, even forbidding them to work to make them dependent upon the villainous one. This may not be an entire list, but it is enough to give you a general idea of the nature of an abusive personality type to serve our purposes, for they differ not among their kind.

I'm only going to graze these topics since they've been run into the ground by every news source and blogger... and quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about them myself and that's not my purpose here anyway.

Remember the repeated "crisis" mantra that Obama used on Americans practically every time he got in front of his teleprompters? If not, here's a reminder for you. He began by playing on the fears of those that first lost their homes, and those potentially about to lose their homes, due to the mortgage "crisis". The next crisis may have been the economy with all the job losses. He pushes this "crisis" as they couldn't "go to waste" to spend the USA into more debt for his mind-boggling nonsensical stimulus packages.

Let's see what came after that? Oh, yes the dreaded "death-care". Not suited for humane treatment of animals, yet according to our not-so-fine elected officials... it's supposedly good enough for us. BUT, they won't be subjected to it. Need I ask why? I think not, that's another time and place. The point was the urgency factor and the necessity of it that he kept pushing, and meeting in the middle of the night while we slept on a holiday to begin passing the legislation. Yet, if I recall correctly it won't take effect until 2012, thus the "URGENCY" factor.

Finally, people began to wake up to Obama, Pelosi, and Reid's mischievous and underhanded tactics. Slowly, but surely small steps are being made toward change away from their Socialist, Marxist direction after the uproar of the non-Liberals in Massachusetts, with the election of Scott Brown.

But Obama can't stop with the verbal abuse because it's in his nature. One fine example, recently and fresh in our minds is Las Vegas. Obama first publically humiliated, and criticized corporations by taking privileges to inadvertently make large decisions by telling them not to use taxpayer money to spend lavishly in Las Vegas and they didn't.

According to the LA Times, March 12, 2009, the Las Vegas Mayor demanded an apology and a Presidential retraction. What he got in return was a clarification from White House Secretary Robert Gibbs. Hhmm.... no apology, sounds familiar from our previous description.

Then on February 2, 2010, Obama did it again to Las Vegas. He made a flippant, insulting, and potentially economically damaging remark to a city of people for whom HE SERVES, but has yet to REMEMBER for some unknown reason. Obama is a public servant, as are all politicians, and THEY WORK FOR US. Las Vegas as you may or may not know has an unemployment rate of 13%, high foreclosure and bankruptcy.

Obama's response to his remark was defensive and he MINIMIZED it by stating, "I was making the simple point that families use vacation dollars, not college tuition money to have fun." His response is that of an abusive personality. Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman said during a hastily called news conference that Obama is no friend to Las Vegas and would not be welcomed here if he visits. "I'll do everything I can to give him the boot, " Goodman said. "This President is a real slow learner." The Mayor of Las Vegas appears to be standing firm thus far and I hope he continues to do so.

Obama has the villainous aims of an abusive personality and the responses of one also. Very obvious traits. As mentioned before, evil destroys and their true colors will show. True personalities cannot be hidden. Evil feels the need to hide under the sheep's clothing. Sheep don't have to hide under sheep's clothing.... wolves do.

"White House Negro"

Alveda King, the niece of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and founder of King for America Inc., is right on the money with her assessment of Harry Reid, and his MORE than racist remark about Obama -- "a ‘light-skinned' African American ‘with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,'..." Harry Reid is an INSULT to every WHITE human being and to every BLACK human being and their ancestors!!!!

Let me begin by exposing something about racial discrimination for all ignorant people out there. Remember this too... Racial discrimination exists among or within ALL races. Why black people are at the forefront of this topic is beyond me, and why they are at liberty to pick and choose their "times" to draw the imaginary "race card" is beyond me. This country is full of double standards and racial discrimination with the black community is always at the forefront, with the likes of Al Sharpton, who at the same time chooses to pardon such blatant bigotry as Harry Reid's despicable statements as it falls somewhere within Al's blurred definition of that overused imaginary "race card", and his political agenda without boundaries. Al Sharpton vacillates more than smoke in the wind when it comes to his opinions on anything.

If I may take a rabbit trail here for better clarification. I was discriminated against for being half-Korean and half-white. I learned that Koreans would not accept me for being seen as half-Korean and half-white. I learned at an early age that I was not very well received by some of my childhood peers as a being seen as half-Korean and half-white. Hines Ward, wide receiver with the Pittsburgh Steelers couldn't have made it any more clearer when I saw him on television speaking on this topic, and I cried when I watched it.

He also summarized it in an article stating, "I was a lost child," Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward says. "I wasn't accepted in the black community because I was Korean, and I wasn't accepted in the Korean community because I was black." He blamed his Korean mother for the teasing he got on the playground in suburban Atlanta. "I was ashamed of the person who instilled everything in me. I let the kids get the better half of me." The only difference with me is.... I didn't ever blame anyone for who I am.

My problem with Alveda King and other black Americans dealing with Harry Reid's blatant bigotry is accepting his so-called apology to Obama. Harry didn't apologize to anyone else and he made a deep and ancestral insult with "Negro dialect". Obama on the other hand, broke the greatest racial barrier that truly destroyed that imaginary "race card", yet by accepting Harry Reid's so-called apology, Obama sold out the black Americans. Especially, when he didn't call for his resignation.You see, Obama's real concern is not about ANY American individual, regardless of skin color. Obama has an agenda and an agenda is impersonal. Impersonal means WE, the people do NOT matter. WE, the people comprise this Nation. Obama is disconnected, and non-empathetic toward others, etc. We thought Clinton was like Teflon. Obama is like Teflon with an extra coating of non-stick spray. All you have to do is remain current with the political climate, connect the dots, and then you will see what all those dots spell out for us as a Nation. It becomes very obvious and rather frightening, yet infuriating if you truly love this country and all that upon which it was founded.

The purpose of our new website http://www.thedailypledge.com/ is to expose the truth. Truth is like shining a light in a dark room. As with anything in life there are two ways to view truth. One is to find truth to be liberating in that you can see the debris that needs to be removed to clear the way to make a visible path toward a better future and walk freely. Realizing nothing in this life is ever easy, yet always pursuing diligently toward a mutually rewarding goal, and for the betterment of others in the long run.

The alternative is to become defensive, want to turn the light off so you don't have to deal with the chore and discomforts of clearing a path toward a better future, and let someone else determine your outcome. Thus, requiring little to no effort, thought or planning, nor does one look forward to care about ones future. This is centered around the age of instant gratification, short cuts to reach the fastest results, which have consequences. One gropes and stumbles through life and takes whatever comes ones way, and blames others for the end result.

We also want to show the other side. With that, our hope is that some may come to see and know the truth of the state of our Nation, and realize as the light is turned on via our website that we as citizens have to take action in order to make a difference. We need to be informed and educated now more than ever as the foundation upon which our beloved country was built is now being sabotaged and attempts are being made to destroy it in short order, and many times while we sleep.

So tell me… did Barry Hussein Obama stay at a Holiday Inn Express, and now he thinks he is a medical professional to the point that he can stand before America, and change medical procedures to detect such diseases as cancer?

And why is it women’s cancerous issues at the forefront of his so-called "ObamaCare". Note the new buzzword… it’s about as annoying as a bee buzzing around your head ready to sting you. "ObamaCare"… clearly he cares about no one person’s health. He has a control, power, dictatorship agenda to push through. Obama does NOT care. "Obama" and "care" are incongruous like spilled gasoline with a lit match thrown on it. "ObamaCare" is lethal. Read my bio on the right hand side of my blogspot. You will see I know about that which I speak and/or write.

First the mammogram now the pap smear… make the connection here people. Socialized medicine is NOT a form of "health care". I will chant my mantra till I am blue in the face. There is no "health" considered and there is no "care" about the person. People suffer needlessly under Socialized medicine and die prematurely. AND, no single thing is ever FREE from the government… there is a hefty price to be paid for this program aside from the taxes, people will suffer needlessly, and die prematurely.

Yet the government is exempt. It isn’t good enough for them, so why shove it down our throats and force it upon us when we don’t want it?

There are so many illegal Mexicans that we have dumbed down our standards to accommodate their overwhelming majority, status, and unwillingness to learn English both in the spoken and written form. Sometimes I wonder what country I’m in when I go shopping, or make a phone call. By the way, why do I have to press "1" for english.

My mother came from South Korea, and taught herself to speak English mainly by watching Captain Kangaroo and I Love Lucy Show, while being entertained and by listening to others speak. She also learned how to read by reading and memorizing the Bible at age 29. I’m thinking the Korean language is more difficult to read and speak than Spanish. Plop yourself down in the center of South Korea, virtually all alone at age 29… see how well you fare.

The difference may be the attitude of the people. My mother came over to the United States of America to fulfill the dream of the freedoms and liberty this country has to offer, and to integrate herself into it by learning the culture and language. The true immigrant wants to integrate. The illegal alien wants the benefits of our freedom and liberty for their personal gain without being a part of the country. They don’t want to integrate into this country and one proof is they don’t want or care to learn our language. To top that off, they demand our schools print materials in Spanish so they can understand without having to learn our language.

Stop wasting our tax money, taking our jobs, draining our social programs… food stamps, welfare, health care, etc.

If you don’t want to be a TRUE AMERICAN…. GET OUT~!!!!!!

National Debt

Our United States National debt currently stands at well over $12 trillion dollars. And it is continually climbing higher and higher. Please feel free to view it on the lower left-hand column of my blogspot. Have we, as individuals become so desensitized to the sound of "trillions of dollars" that it’s become virtually meaningless to us?

Strangely, the "Leader of our Nation" who is leading us further and further in to this destructive debt, tells us as citizens to go out and spend money. Today our unemployment stands at 10.2% and we are in a recession. I’m left in absolute bewilderment at this man and his illogical statements. How much more out of touch can he possibly get with those who voted for him and those that most certainly did not?

Have you ever stopped to realize that one can bankrupt a country? I’m aware of two countries that were lead into bankruptcy, and they are Germany and Zimbabwe.

Bankruptcy + Country = Marxist-Leninism, and we all know where that went – Communism.

Freedom of Speech

Freedom of speech: Why is it when a term is used such the as ‘Swine Flu’, the President changes it to the ‘H1N1’ virus? Or how about the phrase… "War on TERROR" they aren’t called terrorist anymore, and the war on terror has been changed to "Overseas Contingency Operation". The media and public are expected to use this terminology, and be "politically correct".

Tell me… how is this FREEDOM of SPEECH when we are expected to behave like parrots? Sounds more like controlling ones mind and use of language… this is one step worse than censoring. We are LOSING our FREEDOM of SPEECH in the subtlest ways.
